Teen DBT Skills Group

Females group on Wednesdays at 4:30pm-5:30pm

Males group on Thursdays at 5:30pm-6:30pm

(This is an on-going group based on individual needs and age groups.)

The Teen DBT group is an opportunity to learn skills, build connections, and explore who you are, what you like, and how you feel. As teenagers, there are often times when you feel misunderstood, dismissed, and unsure who you are and what we want out of life.

Some of you may be experiencing a wide variety of challenges including self-harming, disordered eating, body image, self-expression, and the pressures from family, school, and friends can sometimes feel very overwhelming.

This group creates the space to let you know you are not alone in what you are experiencing. Being a teen is hard and the goal within this group is to create deep connections with others while building skills to cope with difficult days, find moments to recognize the little joys in life, better manage emotions as they arise, and explore how healthier decision making can lead to a happier and more peaceful life.

This group has a max participant number of 6-8 individuals and will be held at our location in Roseland, NJ.

Yoga DBT Group (5 Week) In Person

Saturdays at 9:30-11:00am

In current times, it’s easy to be consumed by information in a fast paced world. To change what is happening around you it helps to start by slowing down and looking within you. One way to do this is to connect to your body through the practice of yin yoga.

Each week you will be guided to experience yin yoga postures, breathwork, mindfulness, and journaling. The intention of the group is to help you become more knowledgeable of yourself which in turn will help you make choices from a more mindful and embodied place. In addition, you will learn DBT skills that help with emotional regulation.

This group has a max participant number of 8-10 individuals.

Growing with Grief Peer Group - Adults Virtual (8 Weeks)

Wednesdays at 4:30pm-5:30pm

Grief and Loss are often topics we typically find ourselves working through alone. Maybe we have experienced others not knowing what to say or how to act when we have experienced a loss. Perhaps we feel like a burden and try to isolate from others to not appear bothersome. At times, we may just not have the words to truly share what we feel. This group was created because of all of the above and so much more.

Within this space, we will share our personal journeys related to grief and loss of all kinds, learn new concepts and ways to identify where and what we are feeling, explore ways to support healing and create an opportunity for deeper connection.

This group has a max participant number of 8-10 individuals.
